The Hair Sanctuary is a full service salon located inside Salons Boutique in West Plano near the Willow Bend Mall. The Hair Sanctuary is a proud carrier of the Schwarzkopf Igora Color System and supporting Bonacure and Osis care and styling products...and is owned and operated by Lou Marini, a very accomplished stylist serving the North Dallas community for over a decade.
After earning his license in 1997, Lou immediately went to work for Avalon Salons, an upscale Aveda Concept Salon in Snider Plaza. Under the direct study of one of it’s co-founders and owners, Rick Bowden, Lou began his professional career as a “cutter”. With ongoing, mandatory weekly training under the guise of the Vidal Sassoon Professional Programme Avalon was so well known for, Lou honed his natural gift for technical and creative hair cutting.
After nearly 4 years at Avalon Salon, Lou’s hunger to become more versatile as a hairdresser took hold and he ventured out on his own to master his natural flair for hair coloring. Moving into the Plano area, Lou spent the next 5 years honing his individual color and highlighting techniques, experience and resume...finally settling down 3 years ago in his own salon, The Hair Sanctuary.
Lou Marini is one of those “natural” hairstylists. He is an artist by nature. His distinct flair for cutting and color are obvious each and every time a satisfied client leaves his chair. Whether the desired look is subtle, natural and healthy...possibly a more "edgy" look...or even down right punk rock...Lou’s abilities are limitless.
With his natural talent and "people first" friendly attitude, not to mention his longtime power-house wife running the business end of things...it's not hard to understand why The Hair Sanctuary has been such an ongoing success!
